Iraq Veterans Against the War:
Stories & Strategies to End the War

Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) was founded in July 2004 at the annual convention of Veterans for Peace (VFP) in Boston to give a voice to the large number of active duty service people and veterans who are against this war, but are under various pressures to remain silent. Today, IVAW members are in 43 states, Washington, D.C., Canada, and on numerous bases overseas, including Iraq. IVAW currently has 20 chapters around the country - including here in the Los Angeles/Orange County community.

Join local activists in Iraq Veterans Against the War for an evening of stories, strategizing, a slide presentation, and an important discussion on how the Orange County Peace community can work in solidarity with Iraq Veterans Against the War.

Program starts at 7pm. Join us for a Potluck at 6pm.
